In Memory of Don Wehby
Retired Group CEO, GraceKennedy Limited
Remembering Don Wehby
With deep sadness, the GraceKennedy family mourns the passing of our beloved former Group CEO, The Honourable Don Wehby, OJ, CD.
A visionary leader, Don exemplified integrity, service, and a profound love for his family, GraceKennedy, and Jamaica. His career at GK spanned three decades, culminating in his appointment as Group CEO in 2011. Under his leadership, our company expanded locally and internationally, while remaining true to our core values of Honesty, Integrity, and Trust, and our We Care ethos.
Don loved people. He treated every member of our GK family with respect and warmth, and was deeply committed to uplifting the communities we serve around the world. He also answered the call to national duty, serving as Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service, and as a Government Senator, roles through which he championed Jamaica’s development.
Don’s legacy of nation-building and inspiration will live on in the many lives he touched for generations to come.

Condolences shared for Don Wehby
You ran an excellent race and made an indelible mark in this world. Rest in peace Don. You did it your way.
Mr Wehby was a leader who made sure he was in the know and didn’t rely much on 3rd party information. He loved to gather his own evidence. To give an example of this, while he was president of FGB, he would walk the floor of the bank as he felt a mind to, enquired of lower-level staff, their every and any sentiment about, management, improvement of the bank and its product offerings, customer satisfaction, etc. He assured lower-level staff of having their backs (especially where they had personal disgruntlement with management). Some of these feedback would cause him ruffle management’s feathers if he got unfavourable comments about them in whatever capacity. He was a true stalwart with a huge heart – loving his staff and wanting to do the best for them and their well-being, creating a mutually beneficial synergy with staff and company
Don, it was a pleasure to have known and worked with you. You made a mark on my career and my life. And you made a mark on your nation. A life well lived, rest in peace.
To Hillary and the family, my sincerest condolences for your loss. May he continue to live on in your hearts and in all the memories you made together.
Sincerest condolences to Mr. Wehby’s family and friends. May the Lord continue to wrap His arms around you, even as you go though this your season.
The Majesty Gardens Infant School sends condolences to the Immediate and GK families. I remember the first time I met Mr Wehby; he was in the community to assist with the distribution of care packages to the seniors in the community.
He noticed that a school was on the premises and he came inside the building. He interacted with the children as if they were his own, playing games, marking their books and even pushing them in the toy cars. He did not just stop there; he committed to the donation of our first set of tablets and interactive display. I am eternally grateful that I met him in this lifetime.
May his soul rest in peace.I have been very fortunate to have been mentored by some of Jamaica’s leading businesspeople but aside from my father’s own mentorship, Don’s influence on me has been the most significant. He was a tough task master but ever so kind. He encouraged you to push the boundaries of what is possible but will pull on the reins if you are going off track. He lead with his values and his heart but was laser focused on how we can grow GraceKennedy from strength to strength. His focus on his family and loved ones allowed us to put our families first as well. His service to Jamaica and Jamaicans infused us all with the energy and commitment to do more for Jamaica, Land We Love. I am proud to call him my mentor. I am proud to have had him as the Group CEO of GraceKennedy Limited.
We have lost a man who has not only been a boss and mentor but a close friend to me and my family for decades. A man who loved his family deeply, a man who was passionate about the upliftment of Jamaica and Jamaicans, a man who led GraceKennedy with integrity, vision, purpose, and passion.

It is with deep admiration that I remember Mr Wehby, whose genuine care for people and inspiring leadership touched so many lives, not only in Jamaica but here in the UK also, he will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.Sincere condolence to the Family, friends and the GraceKennedy Team on the loss of Mr. Wehby. As we pay tribute and celebrate his life, may the memories of who he was bring comfort and peace during this very sad time.
“This, too, shall pass; God is good.” These words, spoken calmly during a Senate debate at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, reassured an anxious nation. That reassurance came not only from the words themselves, but also from the confident demeanor of the one who spoke them. He conveyed the sense that he had personal knowledge of the One in whose goodness he wanted us to anchor our hope. And, indeed, his life of humble, kind and excellent service attested to that relationship. So, to his loved ones I say, “This, too shall pass” – this time of intense sorrow – to be replaced by gentle smiles evoked by pleasant memories. “God is good.”
Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Mr. Don Wehby. Sir, you came, you saw, you conquered. The Grace family has lost a truly unique and rare human being. Don lived the GK values and demonstrated them in everything he did. It is through his leadership and example that his legacy will live on across Jamaica and the wider World for decades to come.
Our leader. Our inspiration. Our legend.
Good night Mr Wehby, Sir
I write these words with tears in my eyes. I was a boarder at Immaculate Conception High school for my entire school life with exception of the last year when I attended the Commercial Section. My parents lived in St Mary and when it was time for me to leave boarding school, they sought advice from the Principal’s office. Mrs Forte of 32 Grosvenor Terrace was recommended. It turned out that this lady was grandmother to Don and Dorothea Wehby, Graham, Seann and Shelley Forte and the Fox children. With the exception of the Foxes who lived up the road, a driver would pick up the other children from school and drop them off at their grandmother’s. This is where they stayed until their parents picked them up. This is where I met Don. He was about 12 or 13 and attending St Georges College with his cousin Graham. They were well behaved children. God has granted me time to watch each and everyone of them grow up and become responsible human beings. Later on in life, I joined Air Jamaica. One day Don visited my department at the Airport, in an official capacity. When he saw me, we hugged and he chuckled and said, “You all would not believe how long I’ve known Jennifer”. Such was the HUMILITY of the Man. May his soul Rest In Peace.
Condolences to family and friends. My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr Wehby. He was an exceptional man and leader; a true visionary.
May his soul rest in eternal peace. #OneDonMy deepest condolences to the Wehby’s family. Mr. Wehby was an exemplary human being who shows that leadership is more than being at the head but rather he used his position to touch all levels of life locally and internationally. I pray for comfort and peace for his family. Rest in peace Mr. Wehby. God knows best!
R.I.P. Mr. Wehby.
May the angels open the gates of heaven and welcome you to your eternal home.
Rest in sweet eternal peace, Mr. WebhyA TRIBUTE TO AN EXTRAORDINARY LEADER DON WEHBY
I want to honor a remarkable individual whose life and legacy exemplify the rare blend of visionary leadership, selfless philanthropy, and an unwavering passion for sports. As a CEO, Mr. Wehby transformed GraceKennedy with bold ideas, strategic foresight, and an unrelenting commitment to excellence. His journey was not just about building a successful GraceKennedy but about creating a lasting impact on a Country, the world, inspiring countless individuals, and redefining what it means to lead with purpose.
His philanthropic spirit was a beacon of hope, reflecting a deep belief in the power of giving back. Through initiatives that touched sports, education, healthcare, and community development, he used his success to uplift the underserved and champion causes that mattered. Through Grace and Staff, empowering student-athletes via scholarships, his generosity knew no bounds. He used his position as CEO as a tool to drive meaningful change, creating ripples of impact that will be felt for generations. His commitment to philanthropy reminds us that true greatness lies in service to others.
As a sports lover, he found inspiration in the grit, teamwork, and passion of athletics, cricket, and horse racing. Whether participating, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting sports initiatives, he understood the transformative power of sport to unite a Country and instill values of perseverance and unity. His enthusiasm for sports was not just a hobby but a reflection of his approach to life—approaching every challenge with the heart of a competitor and the humility of a team player. He championed programs that gave young athletes opportunities to grow, proving that sports can be a catalyst for personal and societal progress.
Mr. Wehby’s legacy is a testament to the idea that one person can change the world by blending vision, compassion, and a love for sports. He showed us that leadership is about more than profits—it’s about purpose. It’s about building bridges, breaking barriers, and leaving Jamaica and by extension, the world, better than he found it. His life has inspired so many of us at GraceKennedy to dream big, give generously, and live with the passion of a true champion.
I will always celebrate this extraordinary CEO, whose contributions to business, government, philanthropy, and sports will continue to inspire and uplift us all. His story reminds us that the greatest victories are those that elevate others, and his light will shine on in the lives he touched and the legacy he has left behind.
“A true leader’s legacy is not measured in titles or profits, but in the lives they inspire, the values they uphold, and the vision they leave behind. Your impact will continue to guide us, even in your absence.”

Let us continue to pray for strength and comfort for the Grace Family, his immediate families and friends. May his soul rest in peace 🙏🏽
Don Wehby had wisdom beyond his years, he was kind, humble and a gentleman. His contribution to corporate Jamaica and his commitment to Jamaica is an inspiration but even above that, on a personal level, the respect and love his family, his friends and his Team had for him shows who he really was. I met Don while working in my first “adult” pre university job at Dyoll Insurance in the 80’s. Don remained friends with the guys from then and before. That sincerity has always resonated with me. My prayers and thoughts are with his wife, his children, his sister, his family, his Team and his friends

To Hillary and Family: I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences.
We enjoyed some memorable time at our boys Football matches
Mr. Wehby’s leadership of GraceKennedy and his persona as a truly caring person was one of the compelling reasons I joined GraceKennedy.
In our few encounters over the last years, Mr Wehby always wanted to know about the welfare of the farmers who supply ingredients for GraceKennedy products and was often known to refer to a conversation with a farmer who said GraceKennedy is why he can send his kids to school. He also loved coming to the Denbigh factory to learn what new products were being worked on and on one visit told the team they may need to delay the lunch meeting he was going to after due to the “sampling” that had taken place on the visit.
Mr Wehby will be greatly missed by myself and the wider Grace Agro Processors team. Condolences to the Wehby family and may his soul rest in peace.Mr. Wehby had an unwavering commitment to the development of children and youth through the Grace and Staff Foundation. His vision aligned closely with seeing young people achieve their optimum potential, meaningfully participate in their own development and in the development of their communities, and contribute to the growth of others. He believed deeply in ensuring access to education as a key pathway to achieving this, and he didn’t just speak about it, he lived it and worked tirelessly to make it a reality.
I remember Mr. Wehby as always being pleasant and respectful, while staying focused on his goals for the company (GK).
My condolences to the Wehby’s family. May his soul rest in peace.

Don’s passion and dedication to his family, Jamaica and GraceKennedy was awe-inspiring and his ability to successfully manage all the needed focus on each was phenomenal.
I was always impressed with his remarkable insight – Don would always offer up alternative strategic angles or approaches to tackling an acquisition, project or problem. His capacity to identify potential risks early on stood out and very often led to quick mitigation and contributed to his successful leadership of GraceKennedy. I learned so much from Don and will continue to rely on guidance he frequently and freely shared.
May Don rest in eternal peace and may God be with the family at this difficult time and beyond
A true leader who inspired others.

May His soul Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
It is with heartfelt sorrow that I reflect on the passing of Mr. Wehby — a leader, a patriot, and a truly remarkable human being for whom I had the deepest respect and admiration.
Mr. Wehby was the embodiment of integrity. He talked the talk and walked the walk — living his values every single day. He was not only a man of words, but a man of action. His leadership inspired trust, his humility earned respect, and his example lit the way for many.
Mr. Wehby loved his country, Jamaica, and served it passionately. His passion for national development was evident in everything he did — always striving for excellence, always thinking of how he could make a difference. His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched and the institutions he helped shape.
His devotion to GraceKennedy was nothing short of exceptional. To him, it was more than a company — it was a family, a purpose, and a platform to serve others. His stewardship of the organization reflected his deep belief in people, in service, and in doing what’s right.
Most of all, he loved his family, and it was clear that they were his greatest source of pride and joy. That love was the foundation of who he was.
Mr. Wehby has left us far too soon, his passing is a tremendous loss, but his legacy will endure — in our hearts, in our memories, and in the values he stood for. I am truly grateful to have known him, to have learned from him, and to have witnessed his extraordinary example.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may Mrs. Wehby, Nicholas, Stephanie, Abigail and the rest of his family find comfort in knowing how deeply respected, admired, and loved he was.A visionary leader, a statesman and a businessman. I will miss you sir. My heartfelt condolences to DW’s immediate family and the GraceKennedy family.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Don Wehby and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
Our relationship with Don spanned many years and grew even stronger through our partnership with GraceKennedy in the formation of Signia Financial Group Inc (now SigniaGlobe).
Don was one of the founding Directors of Signia and was instrumental in the formation of this important GraceKennedy/Cave Shepherd partnership which we together have successfully grown over the last twenty years. His leadership and vision left a lasting impact on all of us, he will be greatly missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
With deep respect and sympathy, I join my GraceKennedy family in mourning the passing of the Honourable Don Wehby, OJ, CD. Though I did not have the privilege of knowing him personally, his exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to the GraceKennedy Group and to Jamaica have left an indelible mark. His legacy of integrity, vision, and service will continue to inspire generations. My thoughts are with his family, friends, our colleagues, and all whose lives he touched.
My sincere condolences to the family of Mr Wehby. I will always remember him for his warm smile, his passion for serving people, he willingness to transfer knowledge to others and his drive for excellence. I will never forget that during the 2020 pandemic, when asked how GK remained afloat during such a time, he responded that it was his staff who was willing to work during the time and he thanked us, sincerely. He also said that seeing to the safety and well-being of the staff was the most important action that GK could take. His work speaks for him.
May the Lord comfort his family, friends and all who mourns his loss. He is missed!!! May his soul rest in peace.May your soul rest in peace
It is with a weighty heart that I write this. I had the distinct privilege of serving alongside Don on the board of the Grace & Staff Community Development Foundation, where he led us as Chairman. I will always remember his incredible passion and the way he constantly pushed our team to strive for excellence. It wasn’t just about achieving the Foundation’s goals for Don, it was about a deep, genuine desire to build a better Jamaica. I saw this firsthand in his commitment to the Foundation’s mission: relieving poverty through education, empowering communities through our homework and STEM centres, and providing guidance and support to shape the next generation. He saw the potential in every person and every project we undertook. His energy was infectious, and his commitment to service was a true inspiration. He was more than a CEO or a Chairman, he was a mentor and a nation builder who led with his whole heart. His legacy will undoubtedly live on in the countless lives he touched.
My deepest condolences to his family and the entire GraceKennedy community. He will be profoundly missed. Rest well Don.
As the Corporate Secretary of the Jamaica Promotions Corporation appointed by Mr. Don G. Wehby, February 6th 2017 and served for the extent of his chairmanship which ended July 15th, 2022, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Wehby for his belief in me, for his belief in the JAMPRO family and the Corporation. Mr. Wehby charted a new course of excellence for JAMPRO and determined that the Corporation attained record achievement for the island of Jamaica and its economic development. He led the Corporation through the COVID-19 pandemic and the pivot to virtual spaces, keeping the “candles burning” and the focus on Jamaica as open for business despite the global shutdown. No doubt Mr. Wehby made a lasting impact. He always said it “What gets measured gets done”. He never acceded to a Corporation which settled for mediocre. His ambition for the Corporation drove the targets. Drove the client satisfaction scores. Drove the goals for economic development and diversification.
He is missed.
He is loved.
He will never be forgotten.
God Bless Mr. Wehby
And he always concluded in his speeches “God Bless Jamaica”.My sincere condolences to his family and friends!
Mr. Wehby was indeed a visionary leader who made significant contributions to not only GraceKennedy, but the community and the country at large. His disciplined approach to work and his ability to spot talent and ensure they were developed will always be remembered. Rest well Mr. Wehby! You were an amazing leader and your impact will never be forgotten. May your family find comfort knowing God is with them in this season. Rest in Peace!
Don Wehby set a powerful example of leadership in both business and nation-building. His unwavering integrity and forward-thinking vision continue to inspire. Jamaica owes much of its progress to his dedication. May his legacy live on and may he rest in peace.
In 2022, when I decided to walk with the call to do something for the Wortley Home for Girls, I didn’t know where to start. I spoke to God about what I wanted, and then an ad appeared on my computer with Don Wehby. I got a connection for him and sent him an email. Not knowing what the response would be, I took it to God. Mr. Wehby didn’t spare anything for the girls. He got me the right connections, and for 3 years, Grace Kennedy has helped make ‘Phenomenal I Am’, a Christmas dinner for the girls’ home worthwhile. Thank you, Mr. Wehby, for not saying no. Thank you for giving me a chance to provide for the girls. Sleep in peace Mr. Wehby, you touched everybody who you were destined to touch, even the less fortunate through me.
My sincere condolences to the family of Sir Don Wehby.and Grace world.
Mr. Wehby came, he saw and he conquered. He has left a legacy behind, an aching void to those who were very close to him

My condolences Don’s family. He was such a down to earth person. As a former R.E. Teacher who worked at St. Georges College, I heard him when I attended an unveiling function one evening & from time to time on TVJ. He spoke from his heart & was a God fearing man. Rest well Don.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Don’s immediate family and the GraceKennedy family. I working at Allied, when he was appointed CEO of GraceKennedy. He was a great leader whose wisdom, humility, and integrity touched many lives. His legacy is a testament to a life well-lived in service to others. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may God’s comfort surround all who mourn his passing.
Sleep on Mr Wehby, take your rest 🙏🕊️Don was a true gentleman. He was kind, courteous, engaging and genuinely cared about people. I particularly admired his enthusiasm over everything including our beloved Jamaica. He proved that you did not have to scream and shout to get things done and get things done he did. He could have worked anywhere but he chose to give back to us in the private and public sector and we are eternally grateful. Condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace
It is with profound sadness that I learnt of the passing of a great friend, former mentor, former co-worker, former boss, Don Wehby. Don was a great human being. He and I were very close as upon his employment at Grace Kennedy, he started out to learn the inner workings of our Treasury Department that was housed at the time at 40 Duke Street, Kingston. So, for the first year of his employment, we worked side by side managing Grace Kennedy’s money. Our collaboration continued when we moved to the new head office at 73 Harbour Street where my work station was just on the opposite end of his office. Don was the person who i could call anytime and he was never too busy to listen. In fact, our trust and bond was so strong that at one time, he asked me to manage his investments , entrusting me to guide him as to what to invest in and being the keeper of his titles and stock certificates and bond certificates at the time. I learnt a lot from Don about business and those learnings helped to shape my life from ever since. When I transitioned Grace Kennedy to work at JPS as the Treasurer, I know Don was sad. He expressed his feelings to me but at that time, I told him, i wanted to experience something else besides Grace Kennedy as I have never worked anywhere else. Despite me leaving, we remain in contact and I could always email him directly about anything I need whether from Grace or to do business and despite how busy he was, he always respond to me. That’s the character of the man I know. He was never too busy for anyone. Don was a visionary in all respects. I recall the time we travelled to Cayman to explore setting up Grace Kennedy’s first mutual fund. I think him, Douglas and I and a few other folks were traveling on the same plane. I jokingly say to him, Don, hope this plane land safely because you realise, all of the key decision makers in Grace on the same flight. That’s not proper risk management. We both laughed and start feel for the life jacket to make sure one is below our seats. That’s the humility of the man I know. We had many great times together, whether we were working or just chilling. I recall when that tough decision came about as to whether Grace would exit the food business because we were chalking up so much losses and that division was putting the entire group at risk as it was drowning in debt. We all met to decide the food division’s fate in the board room at 73 Harbour Street. I recall Don, Douglas, Jimmy Moss, myself and a few others. It was the turning point in the company’s journey as that moment was what would define what Grace Kennedy is today. In the end, we decided we wouldn’t exit the food business but instead restructure. So, we laid everyone off, some 700 plus employees at the time and ask everyone to re-apply for their job. In the end we hired an initial 350 persons and that decision paved the way for the success of the division it is today, employing even far more people than we did then. Don, had so much confidence in my stewardship that he put me in charge of working capital management and treasury matters for the Food Division. With Don’s guidance and skillful execution we were able to reverse the Food Division then from a debt position of around US$30MM then to a positive cash position of US$500K in two years. That shows the quality of leadership that Don provided and guidance in particular to me. I also recall when I was purchasing my first house. I only had the deposit at the time. I went to Don and said, Don I am about to acquire my first house but I only have the deposit. Without hesitation, Don, said no problem man, let me talk to Douglas and within the same day, he and Douglas called the trustees of the pension fund and changed one of the rules to allow them to loan me the difference to acquire the house. That is the caring spirit of the man I know and the man who will go to great lengths to ensure his employees are comfortable. Don, you will be truly missed. May your light continue to shine forever. To the current management of Grace Kennedy, I say, continue Dons legacy and I am going to recommend that a permanent lighted sign or projection of a light that spells Don be installed on the top of the Grace Kennedy building that shines to the sky as long as it wont affect flights coming into the airspace. Similar to what we see in the Batman movies. Lets keep his light shining for all to see. Sleep in peace Don.
Don Wehby was an outstanding leader both in business and for his country. It is hard to find others with his level of integrity, intellect and vision.
Jamaica is a better place because of his contributions. May he rest in peace. 🙏
DW…you had a unique way of making everyone feel seen. You often made others feel they can achieve anything. You were and will continue to be an inspiration for greatness. We all stand on your shoulders…the shoulders of a true Jamaican Giant. Thank you for all you were, are, and will always be…#THEoneDON! May your soul rest in eternal peace.

Mr. sincere condolences to Mr. Wehby’s family. I never met him personally but whenever there was an email from his Desk, after reading it, whatever it said, it would always be something great and inspiring. I would feel that connection of pride, to be apart of this great company, Grace Kennedy Limited.
Whenever I worked at the 42 front desk, I would look forward to him passing on L2 landing heading upstairs to his office, he would gently lean over the rail, with a bright smile and a ‘good morning’ that warms your heart. I will surely miss that.To ‘Sir’ with love, rest well Mr. Wehby.
History will no doubt be kind to this Earth Angel, who led GK with distinction while creating memorable moments and dedicating his time to help build this precious rock called Jamaica. I am particularly proud of your ability to connect with the most vulnerable among us. We salute you in life and in the afterlife, Mr. Wehby. Rest Easy!!
Don,
This is incredibly hard to believe, but something I must come to terms with. Jamaica has truly lost an unsung hero. Your vision for this country and the way you pursued it with such purpose and humility were truly admirable. The impact you’ve had on my life is deeply personal—one that has forever shaped how I view the world and the importance of paying it forward to those in need. I already felt your absence when I heard about your early retirement, but I remained hopeful. Sadly, the news that followed cast a heavy shadow over my Sunday morning.
You will be profoundly missed. I pray that your family—both immediate and extended—find strength and comfort through the support of loved ones and the power of prayer during this incredibly difficult time.
May your soul rest in perfect peace.
1DONMr. Wehby. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside you in your role as CEO. You were a phenomenal person—committed, dedicated, and driven to succeed. You inspired those around you with your encouragement and strength. A true leader in every sense. Rest in peace, Sir.
A Legacy Beyond Measure – In Memory of The Honourable Don Wehby, OJ, CD
In Kingston’s heart, a light once burned
With vision vast and wisdom earned
A son of soil, of purpose true
Who dreamed for many, and followed throughHe led not just with charts and goals
But with a heart that knew all souls
From boardroom walls to downtown village square
He showed the world what it means to careA champion of the vulnerable
He stood where others might not dare
With steady hand and open heart
He made their burdens his to bearHe saw in youth a nation’s rise
In sport and school, he cast his eyes
At Champs, his legacy was crowned
Where dreams and discipline aboundHe helped to build the GK brand, and shaped our name
Giving our Company worldly fame
DW always gave his time, and sometimes his might
To uplift the unsure, to do what’s impactful and rightDecisive, bold, yet always kind
A rarer soul is hard to find
He taught us all to lead with grace
And to hold integrity in placeHe spoke of trust, of family, and demonstrated such care
His passion for people was beyond compare
He lived the values GK holds dear
And made their meaning crystal clearThough now he rests, his voice remains
In every act that bears his name
In every life his work has touched
In every heart that loved so muchSo let us not just mourn his end
But live the truths he did defend
For Don, whose light will never dim
We honour and cherish all we learned from him!Always in our Hearts at GK and Beyond … Your Family is Our Family!

I just want to say a heart warming condolence to Mr. Don Wehby family .
you will certainly be greatly missed by many, you were also a great mentor to many .let your soul rest in peace in the arms of the Lord
In all my 40 plus years of practicing law I have come across anyone with the intelligence, integrity, warmth and love of his country, company and family as Don. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to represent Don both at GraceKennedy and when in he was government and led the privatization of Air Jamaica project. No one was better than Don. But most important for me was the friendship we developed. Once you were Don’s friend he had your back for life. I already miss him very much but will never forget. There is term in jewish culture Mensch which means a person of honor, integrity and good character. Don is a “ mensch y “ as they come
Mr. Wehby’s kindness will remain with me for a lifetime. He is the reason I became part of the GraceKennedy family, and I will always remember his inspiring leadership, his compassion, and—above all—his courage to dream big, bring his vision to the team, and unite us in working toward shared goals. May God continue to bless and comfort his family, and may his remarkable legacy live on forever.
May I dare to impact lives in the way he so profoundly impacted mine.
I want to share my condolences to the family and friends of Mr Don Wehby. His integrity, leadership, and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
