Call for Grant Proposals are Now Open

1. The geographical area of interest is Jamaica
2. Must be a registered non-governmental organisation or educational institution to be considered

Eligible activities include:

1. Replacement of desks, chairs, and basic classroom equipment
2. Acquisition of educational supplies
3. Small scale repairs required for reopening or continuity of learning

Grants are NOT provided:

1. In response to general appeals, no matter how worthwhile the cause
2. For the general funds of an organisation or to clear debts
3. For payment of salaries or salary supplements
4. For personal study or travel
5. For personal medical or related purposes
6. For buildings /construction/ major repairs projects
7. For the purchase of land
8. For activities that have the potential to cause adverse impacts to critical habitat
9. To profit-making organisations or for purpose of personal profit
10. For the hosting of conferences
11. For back-to-school treats or health fairs
    

For early childhood and special needs institutions at the primary and secondary level impacted by Hurricane Melissa

Up to JA$500,000 per selected project

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

1. Alignment with GraceKennedy Foundation’s mission and focus areas
2. Project feasibility and sustainability
3. Impact on the target community or audience
4. Budget clarity and efficiency

Proposals will be reviewed by the Foundation’s Board, and successful applicants will be notified.

Grantees are required to submit a final report summarising the project outcomes and complete a grant evaluation form and an evaluation survey.
