GraceKennedy (GK) is proud to announce that we have been honoured with two awards at this year’s Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) Manufacturers and Exporters (M&E) Awards. The M&E awards, which were held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, celebrated the exceptional accomplishments of Jamaican businesses within the manufacturing and export sectors.

Grace Food Processors received the first M&E award of the evening, the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Most Sustainable Manufacturer Award, which recognises our Group’s dedication to environmentally responsible practices and having a positive impact on the communities we serve. GraceKennedy Limited was also awarded the Nicola Gordon-Rowe Buy Jamaican Award, which highlights our unwavering commitment to supporting local products and fostering economic growth in Jamaica.

“We are truly honoured to receive these awards,” said Frank James, CEO of GK Foods-Domestic. “They are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovation of our GK team. We remain committed to contributing to Jamaica’s economic development while promoting sustainable practices and advancing our ESG agenda.”

He added, “These recognitions motivate us to continue enhancing our support for locally made products, while driving meaningful change in Jamaica’s manufacturing industry.”
