GK (Ontario) Inc. teamed up the Canadian travel agency, Gap adventures, to provide much needed relief to Haitians in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake on January 12, 2010.

On February 4, National Sales Manager John Kapralos received an e-mail from Gap Adventures stating that its president and CEO would be travelling to Haiti the following day and had the ability to carry some food items with him. Without any hesitation John offered to contribute rice, red kidney beans, corn meal and yellow split peas, all very versatile food items that can be used to create nutritious meals to feed the Haitians, the majority of who were left desolate following the earthquake.

A video detailing the relief effort was posted by the very enthusiastic and caring Gap employees on www.youtube.com. Says John of the effort “You will see Grace products everywhere, even myself walking them through our warehouse and helping load the truck. This was short notice but Grace came to the table and helped. We should all be very proud of being part of an organization that cares about our fellow neighbours especially when in need.”
