Throughout the Caribbean island of Jamaica and its diaspora, GraceKennedy has created a culture of giving back to their loyal Caribbean supporters, keeping Caribbean traditions alive and promoting the beauty and wonderful taste of the Caribbean – all through their Festivals.

In fact, in Jamaica, The United Kingdom, Canada and the United States alone there are numerous events that GraceKennedy participates in yearly.
In these events GraceKennedy’s role as sponsor or participant is simple – to sensitize the general public to how amazing and affordable GraceKennedy’s products are. For instance, in Jamaica and the United States there are a wide range of events that GraceKennedy is involved in, however one event that they have in common is the popular Jerk Festival. Kimberley Lue Lim, GraceKennedy Limited’s Assistant Global Category Manager spoke to the influence and benefits of this event, “These festivals create awareness for Grace’s Jerk Seasonings, as well as brings people together for a good time.”

Likewise in Canada, GraceKennedy participates in approximately 15 big events each year, including participating in mainstream events in order to introduce people of other backgrounds to the great cuisine that the Caribbean has to offer. Within the United Kingdom, GraceKennedy participates in a slew of events as well, such as the Notting Hill Carnival, Chilli Festivals for their Encona brand, exhibitions like BBC Good Food Show (consumer foods and lifestyle show) and the Vitality Show for Grace Aloe Vera, as well as other County Fair events.

Yet, how are these events received? Kimberley sums it up with her words, “We get ‘love notes’ all the time, from all over, in the countries where individuals are touched by our events and they say how proud they are of GraceKennedy. It’s a good feeling, a motivation.” No doubt, the effects of GraceKennedy’s Festivals and Events are far-reaching! When and where was the last Grace Festival you attended?
