Not every company can boast that they presently employ a track star outside of promotional purposes, yet GraceKennedy isn’t your average corporation. Therefore, it isn’t that much of a surprise to know that we have one in our midst, yet it’s still a big deal! As recently as two and a half decades ago, for some jobs computer literacy wasn’t mandatory in a job description though it would’ve been an asset. Fast-forward to the 21st century and we find ourselves in a world where in-depth knowledge of how to use a computer and navigate the internet often goes without being said.

The GraceKennedy sponsored Learning Institute of Central Kingston (LICK) is just one of five homework centres established by the Grace and Staff Foundation; the other centres are in Majesty Gardens, Barbican, in St. Andrew, De la Vega City and Sav-la-Mar.
